It is a free-for-all when they attack, attempting to swarm and overwhelm their prey, but they will retreat if gravely injured. They travel in in packs of 2-4, usually containing a single alpha mongrel which is stronger than the others. Mongrels are always found in the wild, and are hostile by default.
